I’m Heidi, I’ve been a parent carer for over a decade. After years of juggling my children’s needs and facing the challenges of caregiving, and developing rather poor mental health, I realised the importance of prioritising my own well-being even at a small level. I taught myself to meditate and developed strategies that helped me feel happier and more balanced, which in turn benefited my family.
After a few years of wanting to help others to do the same I came up with a plan. I want to create a supportive space focused on you—the caregivers. My aim is to provide a toolkit of skills and strategies to help you prioritise your own well-being in a non-judgmental environment. Carers, whether you’re caring for your child, your parent, or another family member or friend, are an often neglected group, and I truly believe we deserve more!
I’m excited to share my vision for this group, "The Oxygen Mask." The name reflects the idea that, just like in an emergency where you must put on your own oxygen mask before helping others, us carers need to prioritise our own well-being in order to effectively support those we care
for.

A priority of this group is to keep the cost to you as low as possible, whilst still creating quality content.

- Weekly Sessions: Two short (up to 20 minutes) sessions per week focused on meditation, EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), and interactive activities.
- Monthly Mindset Coaching: A one-hour coaching session on Zoom led by a certified CFA coach, followed by Q&A.
- Guest Speakers: Monthly sessions with practitioners on various topics and alternative therapies.
- Resources and Directory: Downloadable materials and a directory of contacts for additional support and 1:1 therapy options.
- Podcast/Video Discussions: Conversations with guests that will explore various topics aimed at enhancing knowledge while uplifting listeners and empowering them to navigate challenges.
